When you are involved in an accident, you don't always know what to do or what your rights are. The following are just a few Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What are the procedures that need to be done if I am involved in an accident?
A. Always report all accidents no matter how minor it seems to both your insurance company and the police. Call a wrecker if needed, most insurance companies offer roadside assistance. Collect all nesessary information from the party involved in the accident. (If someone is injured or a Government vehicle is involved in the accident then the vehicles will be detained by the police for examination.)

Q. Do I have the right to select the shop that will repair my car?
A. Yes you do have the right to select the garage to carry out the repairs on your vehicle.

Q. If I am involved in an accident, can I call my own tow truck?
A. Once the vehicle is blocking the flow of trafic the police is obligated to move it and will use the first wrecker on the scene. If the vehicle is not blocking traffic then you can call the wrecker company of your choice.
